Well. I think the Nokia 6255i has more features, but it's even more bulky than V710. As I recon there were many people here who blamed v710 to be too big.

Also, v710 is supposed to come out pretty soon, wherease the nokia won't be out until the end of the year of 2004.

So, you decide.

PS. Remember that the carrier for this phone is still unknown.

Actually, the 6255i is smaller. The specs show it:

...and I've held both, and the 6255i definitely feels smaller as well.

Oh. My bad you are right (although the 6255i IS havier: V710-4.06 oz, 6255i-4.23 oz). In this case, 6255i IS better than v710. 😳 😲

Who's going to be the carrier for 6255i?

I am new at this stuff in as much as i used the Nextel i1000plus for many years and grew fond of it bulk size.
Didn't need the walkie talkie so I purchased the V710 through us cellular, but am considering the Nokia 6255i.Better feel in comparison to what i had.Nokia advertises a 6256I also. anybody know the difference?

Also the Nokia doesn't come with a plastic belt clip or bluetooth headsetlike the 710.

Any comments would be helpful.

the phone is listed as having 3 games. Games went for verizon when the could charge for them with GIN, but it dose say brew. The displays don't look that great. The color count makes a big difference. The human eye can detect very subtle changes in color so the color count is important. It also has much lower resolution cam. VGA resolution is typically 640x480. Voice properties are user dependant(crap). And it's a damn brick looks like crap. The only things its got going for it is streaming multi media, that will probably look like crap. and better sounding midi ring tones and a more convenient memory.

My oppinion it looks like it will be a POS
