Can't Change Sound Profile
...done this a million times. Set the phone to "meeting" at work, only now it won't switch back. I've tried multiple times, removed and replaced the battery...nothing. It refuses to budge off "meeting". When I try to access sounds through settings, I get an error message. I like to carry the 220 once in a while, but I need to hear it ring.

Just curious, what does the error message say?
..also, a couple of other things you can try,
1. press and hold the power button just long enough to bring up the Quick List. Try to select a different profile from there. OR
2. scroll down to your Meeting profile on your Home screen, select it by pressing enter, then click on Menu, and choose Edit, then change the profile settings. OR
3. go to File Manager, look in the Storage/Application Data/Sounds folder, delete files that are too big or formatted incorectly. They sometimes cause errors.
I don't know if any of those will work, but it's worth a try I guess. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I've done all you've suggested numerous times only to have the phone return to it's initial basic setting. I did, however, try a re-sync with my computer and it appears to be holding the contact list it got from Outlook. The sound settings are back too. The only oddity is the default screen is now "Windows Simple". No matter how many times I change it back to "Windows Default", the next time I go to use it, the layout is back to "Simple". Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my question.

You're welcome. I'm glad to hear it's working. It sounds like you have a pretty good handle it. I'll let you know if I get any other "ideas".
