shame
☹️ its clear to see that someone never learned to count.(2 times not 😎Try sylvan learning center!!!!!!
Anyway, with the guy who said that motorola has lots of problems with phones, clearly I do agree with you. But on the upside, they make a great looking phone, plus make phones with great features. I love that and they are getting better and better. We are 2 for 3. All motorola has got to do is get their phones functioning correctly. Regardless of that, I will keep dipping my money into a product dispite the negative results I have seen.
Also, played with a V3 today, wow is that a cool looking phone!!
Keep up the comeback motto!!

so does anyone have a 220 yet?
I would love to hear some reviews and not by that guy that slams the phone in like 8 different threads he started.
supposedly bestbuy will start rolling theirs out late this week maybe early next week for 349.99(before any rebates). if your local guy has no idea what you are talking about just tell him to "check RSS on the mpx220" that will give you stock count/whether they have some in transit/if another store has it as well.
i am actually looking forward to this phone as i really wanted an mpx100 because it wasnt a clamshell but whatever. this is why im looking for real reviews.

ATTWS MPx220
Hello all,
Scoping out the info boards at work today and nticed some good stuff for those of you wanting an ATT MPx220. The ATT Wireless website is accepting preorders for the phone, which has an arrival date of 10/22. It's not a REAL preorder, but rather a mailing list that gives you an email when you can order it.

MP3, WMA, and DRM
The specs say this phone does MP3. Since it runs on windows, does it also support WMA files? If so, does it support DRM? Id like to use the phone to download songs via iTunes/WalmartMusic store, etc.
Can anyone confirm if ATT will sell the MPx220
Does anyone know for a fact if ATT will carry the phone and when??
Thanks!!!

Bluetooth & *NO* voice dialing???
I know the Phonescoop website says that the voice dialing feature will *NOT* work with a bluetooth wireless headset... Can anyone confirm this??? Or even better, hopefully deny it???
This might be the *best* phone on the market *IF* voice dialing was compatible with a bluetooth cordless headset...
If not, is is just another piece of cr*p from Motorola like the V710 is... (473 pages of complaints & still rising! that's gotta be a record!)

bluetooth/vdial
the bluetooth voice dial problem is specific to windows smartphone 2003, not the device itself. as soon as m$ releases a fix the phone will have the support, as per any smartphone 2003 devices.
Expandable Memory & MP3 Playback Questions
If anyone is able to answer these yet, that'd be coo:
1) The spec sheet on motorola.com says it can take miniSD up to 512megs. Now, is this limit imposed simply because there is only 512meg miniSD chips available, or will it still support the 1gig or 2gig if/when they become available?
2) I see no mention on the site that this phone will require the clunky MP3 player accessory, unlike ALL other Motorola phones. Is this true?
3) I want to be able to use regular earbuds for the MP3 playback, is there an adapter that converts the miniplug into a regular headphone plug?
I'm basically looking for a decent phone that:
- Has MP3 playback
- Allows for scaleability in the expandable memory. I want to be able to plug a 2gig chip in,...

Which is the mpx that was in wierd magazine with Arnold on the cover? This mpx looks like a flip phone and you can also flip it from the side to use internet. Is it the MPx or the MPx 220 because the magazine just called it MPx.
