CDM8900 and 8920
I just bought an 8900 and I'm considering the 8920 or other megapixel phone/camera. Does Audiovox have a poor reputation for their camera phones?
It appears the only way to move photos from the 8900 to my computer is via email. Is this true? I'll be taking 20 to 40 pictures a day (I'm a real estate appraiser) and I'll need a better/faster way to get them onto my computer. Any advise is appreciated.

Sorry, but with Verizon camera phones picture mail is the only way to get the pics off your phone, and outside of a package for pics its $.25 each pic you send. I'd recommend holding out for the Motorola v710, which will have a memory card slot; hopefully, Verizon won't cripple that phone and will let us transfer pics/video to and from the phone via the memory card or bluetooth, not just picture mail. If you want to bail on VZW, I'd recommend switching to sprint. As Rich posted earlier, they have a very easy service that lets you upload your pics to the website, and for $15 Vision picture pack, you get unlimited picture mail. It works well for the realters I've served in my store.

I heard that the Audiovox 8930 is better than the 8920.
...
Have you seen any info on the 8930 if so where?

Thank you for the reply! The only differences really are 8930 has the video as well as camera and a swival top. Cool something more to think about. I still think I would rather have the 8920 not really into the swival tops. I will have to check both out of course!
