DATA Cable Connection
I got a DCU-11 data cable online. When I try to download the drivers from Sony it keeps crashing on me and telling me that I don't have Key permission or permission to write to the key. I donwloaded floats but I can't see anything onth ephone? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I bought the DCU-11 cable a month ago, and I have just leaned how to use it. The problem lies with the driver you are installing. If you bought the cable from a third party then it seems you can't use sony ericssons driver.You can get the driver from here:http://home.netvigator.com/~wjcorp9/dku5 /
Install the driver from the location rather then downloading it.(There is a reason why, but it would take forever to explain)
once the driver is installed plug in you cable to your USB port. If you are running windows xp it find and install the device automatically. after the device is installed go to control panel-system-click hardware tab-device manager. When the device manager is open go down to "ports" and expand it. It should show "prolific u...
