my friend has this phone
I don't know how he got it, but he has it and it's absolutely amazing. He's using it through T-Mobile service though...I hope the v710 is like this phone.

Is he using it on T-Mobile in the US? That's not possible since this phone is 900/1800 only and T-Mobile requires 1900 in the US which this phone doesn't have. Ofcourse, if he's outside the US with T-Mobile, then he could use it.

believe it or not, but I saw it with my own eyes. nice inner and outer color display. he told me he got it from some shady shop, so i'll give him the benefit of the doubt. I hope the v710 is the same size because that's what phonescoop says when I compare the two.

Interesting but how could he get it working when the A840 is CDMA 800/1900 and GSM 900/1800 while US GSM requires 850/1900.
