Any update on this rumor? I am really dying to have it to VZW...
...
In the manual, under section "1. Phone at a glance", it says "Voice/shutter key"...Long press-Anser or make a call using the loudspeaker when the fold it closed.
Am I somehow misreading this, or doesn't this sound like you can use the speakerphone without answering the phone?
...
Yes, you can. Very cool.
...
Notice the manual says "Congratulations on your purchase of the Nokia 6255, Nokia 6255i, Nokia 6256, or Nokia 6256i mobile phone."
...
Not that Verizon won't disable something, but the manual says:
These devices are compliant with Bluetooth specification 1.1 supporting the
following profiles:
Ӣ Object push profile (OPP)
Ӣ File transfer profile (FTP)
Ӣ Dial-up networking profile (DUN)
Ӣ Generic object exchange profile (GOEP)
Ӣ Headset profile (HSP)
Ӣ Hands-free profile (HFP)
Ӣ Service discovery profile (SDP)
Ӣ Generic access profile (GAP)
Ӣ Serial port profile (SPP)
And wow, I have no idea what some of these mean.

PS, from the manual:
Send data
Instead of using the Settings menu, you can use other phone menus to send various
types of data to other devices with Bluetooth connectivity. For example, you can
send a video clip from the Video clips folder of the Gallery menu. See the appropriate
sections of the user guide for information about sending different types of data.
Receive a data transfer
When a Bluetooth connection is active in your phone, you can receive notes,
business cards, video clips, and other types of data transfers from another device
with Bluetooth connectivity. When you receive a data transfer, an alarm sounds, and
a message appears in the start screen.

I'm sure VZW will disable most of this. Their business plan is to diable any features that can result in "revenue leakage." What that means is they will force you to use GIN and their other products/services.
...
Oh, and apparently you can use windows explorer (and a usb cable) to transfer music, photo, and video files to your phone, and from your phone to your pc - apparently, just by buying the cable and connecting it between your phone and the computer. A USB Mass Storage device thingy? So - according to the manual - you don't even have to install special software to transfer files.
...
Because I was looking for it:
The highest SAR value reported to the FCC and IC for this device type when tested
for use at the ear is 1.27W/kg, and when properly work on the body is 0.78W/kg.
...
I really hope so. I really believe this phone will be worth waiting for. Nokia makes fantastic phones!! I think I've had almost everything cell phone made. Maybe this one will cure me!! 🙄
