Streaming Media And EVDO

Can someone please tell me what evdo is. and what is the difference between having evdo or streaming media is it just the speed? this phone has streaming media and no evdo apparently so what is the disadvantage of this.

1XRTT gets about 60Kbps
EV-DO gets about 700Kbps so you can do live video

EV-DO is upgrade of 1XRTT without spending tons of $$$$ and buy a whole new CDMA basestation.

EV-DO is not cheap, but cheaper than EV-DV.

yeah but how can this phone offer streaming media isnt streaming a live feed?
