just wonderin ....cuz its not in ohio or indiana as of yet ....i have one but i got it directly from a nokia rep that gave it to me ...so im just tryin to see the price and where you got it ...thnx for any info you can give me 😳
Best Buy has lots of them in my area, and I've heard Radio Shack has them, but none to be found at local stores. If you go to Best Buy, be persistant because often times they're locked up under the cabinet.

hey well since you are from cali ...have you heard anything about the 29.99 plan that gives you unlimited everything from verizon ...
Huh? What the heck is that? Where'd you hear 'bout this?
I live in NJ and picked up mine this weekend at Radio Shack. Funny thing is according to Verizon I wasn't eligible for the NE2 upgrade until Nov-2006, but according to Radio Shack's computer I was eligible NOW! I guess their systems don't talk to each other or there's some loop hole? Anyway, I was able to pickup a brand new 6256i for a mere $59.99!!! No rebates or anything to mail in. Couldn't believe it! Very happy with the phone so far. The only two downsides I've found so far are the side volume keys, which are poorly placed, large, and far too easily depressed accidentally (adjusting the volume when u don't want to) and the fact that there is no separate button for the speaker phone....you have to push one of the menu keys...

Great to hear you got a good deal. But for what it's worth, the guys at Radio Shack lied to you. RS cannot offer NE2 - what they told you was a load of crap to get you to buy it from them. All they did was knock off a couple hundred dollars and said "we'll give you the ...

Well, come to think of it, they never actually used the NE2 terminology....I just assumed that's the discount they were giving me, since the phone has a $249 retail, and the cheapest elsewhere I could find it was at Best Buy for $149. But hey, whatever you wanan call it, I'll take a $250 Bluetooth phone for $59.99 any day! Peace!
No kidding - they gave you a good deal. It just burns me to know how sleazy RS is when it comes tho this stuff.
I ordered a Nokia BlueTooth earbud with it -- the longer rectangular one rather then the roundish one because it has a softer rubbery gizmo that goes around the ear.
I will get a $50 rebate, but I opted for a ONE year plan just to keep my options open. Your enthusiasm for the 6256i makes me feel good. After I receive mine today, if it is not too late, I will drive to the Nokia Experience Center and they will "set it up" for me, including the BlueTooth earbud.

Some people here have also recommended the Motorola 850 earbud.
The Plantronics earbuds look odd to me.
