Nokia 6255i / 6256i
6256i *will* be sold at the stores
I called VzW for tech support last night and when she discovered that I have a 6256i, she commented that it was a good phone, and that VzW doesn't have it now, but it WILL carry it in the stores in the future.
I do realize that in cellphone world you have to ask the same question 5 times and you can get five different answers, so this is just a report of what I was told, not what I necessarily believe....... although I tend to believe rather than disbelieve. -Lorna

At this point it really doesn't matter unless one wants a NE2 discount. As I have mentioned in other posts, I purchased mine from BB for $149.99 with a 2-year renewal. Also received a mail-in choice of BT earphone or $30 gift card. This week they advertised a price of $69.99 and I just went in and they matched their own price. I still have the option for the $30 gift card so full price is $39.99. Not too shabby.

Hell i got it at radioshack for 59.99 and at least they are honest. I hate best buy.

I also got my 6256 from Best Buy, for $149 w/a 2-yr contract. I purchased the phone on Nov. 13.. what's the time limit for bein' able to get a price match?
If its 30 days or more, I might luck out here. đ
