Where can I find a variety of MIDI ringtones?

I understand that the 6256i cannot play MP3 music files as ringtones, but is it possible for me to find and use other ringtones that are NOT MP3? Is MIDI tones the term I should be using?

The ringtones on the 6256i are *ok* but if I could check more out, I would be happy.

Any suggestions?
(Meanwhile, I have bought a ringback tone for my callers to hear. For December it's a beautiful jazz rendition of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Cristina Aguilera, that magnificent little songbird. I think it beats the Johnnie Mathis version by a longshot.)

I see now that midi sounds are one note sounds, and that polyphonic sounds are, well, poly, so the sounds will be filler and more complex though not as complex as MP3, only I don't know why.

So, where can one find the kinds of sounds/music that the 6256i will actually accept as ring tones?

I will also go back to the VzW website to check for a good sound that I might have missed the first time.

Based upon U.S. Cellular Nokia 6255i, you can not set *.mp3, *.amr, *.mid, or any format as your ring tone, since it looks like DMR has been enabled by Nokia on these phones.

Yes, sadly I have come to see that. ☹️
