Nokia 6255i / 6256i
Data Cable for 6255i and Car Charger
Trying to locate a source for a data cable for use with the 6255i. Just acquired the phone for use with Alltel in South Carolina. I have a number of chargers for use with the 3585i and thought I remembered hearing that they would work with the 6255i. Is that true?

As I understand it, if the charger fits, you must convict...wait, wrong saying. Anyway, I have an old plug-in Nokia charger with a different voltage from the one that came with my 6256i and it charges the phone just fine, so a car charger should be no different.
Regarding the data cable, try getcellstuff.com or any of the links on the phone area of this forum. The item is the DKU-2 cable. Being a Nokia owner I assume taht you know where to download Nokia PC Suite. Alternatively, for several dollars more, if you don't have a Bluetooth-enabled computer you can purchase a USB Bluetooth dongle and sync that way, though the cable, I'm told, is faster.
