Select Button smallness makes self portraits very difficult.
Pressing the Select button for taking a self portrait.
Taking a regular photo is ok, but that little button is SMALL. Taking a self portrait means having to change the position of your hands, and often when I tried to press the Select button, I pressed one of the directional buttons and ended up with VIDEO or nothing at all. This is one feature that has to be improved. I finally gave up trying to take a picture of my dog and me. 😢

The option is called 'Self-timer' an' gives you a 10 second delay between you hittin' the button an' it capturing the picture.
Oh, an' since the outside display is low quality compared to the inside display, you will look a little grainy in the outside display view finder. Don' worry tho'... the pic comes out much-better lookin' than the outside display makes you think it will. Jus' view the finished shot on the inside display.

Hey---- I forgot about that outer display option. I guess it has to be selected first in the CAMERA area. Ok. But still, unless I do the Self Timer thing, that little button is hard to press without pressing the other directional buttons. -Lorna
Since you are using the outer display you can also just close it up and use the voice/shutter key on the side of the phone - rather than trying to use center button on the keypad.
However I still believe that the Select button should be larger. Men might have an easier time with it, but women with longer fingernails (and mine are actually not even long!) have to hit that little thing with the tip of a nail, and the key word is *slippery.*
