Nokia 6255i / 6256i
Verizon Nokia/Bluetooth headset users...
Are any of you using a headset that lets you make calls *without* opening or even touching the phone? I realize this means assigning voice tags to anybody you'll want to call.
But as it is, I have to open the phone, unlike my old LG4400, and press and hold the button before I say the name.
In one of the earlier posts, somebody said that the Nokia has an MP3 player, and calls can be made without opening the phone. There was no mention of BT.
I'm guessing that this involves a wired or wireless headset, any using the Any Key Answer function, but there were no details provided.
I'm also guessing that it's the *only* the non-Verizon 6256s that don't have an MP3 player.
Back to the BT headsets....
(continues)
it can make calls, answer calls, end calls without being near the phone. it has about a 35foot radius. it lasts 200 hours of standby time and 7 hours of talk time. the best feature is that i think it's the ONLY bluetooth headset right now that has "VIBRATION ALERT".. so when someone calls you.. my earpierce VIBRATES around my ear AND plays the ringtone in my ear. Then I just hit the button to answer the phone. You can also set it so the headset automcatically answers the phone without pushing the button on the headset.
Exactly what do you do to make a voice dial phone call with the Jabra and the Nokia?
I've got some of my numbers tagged, but I don't see any menu item that would let me dial via a headset.
Are there additional menus available only via BT?
Thanks again for the info.
