Nokia 6255i / 6256i
Is the Music Player Software now avail. 2 B loaded on VZW version?
I have seen the write ups regarding the missing Music Player on the Verizon version of Nokia 6256i: I bought this phone in Jan. 06 thru Bestbuy but I got accessories through Alltel since they carried the phone also. Alltel told me about the Music Player capabilities--but they did not know VZW had not loaded the software, nor did I until I began to load MP3 files to a MMS card and attempt to listen to them through the phone--how disappointing it was. 😢 Does anyone have any recent info if this Music Player software is available now thru VZW or elsewhere to download it on to the phone? Are there any other options for playing MP3s on this phone?

The music player is a part of programming of the phone itself. There is no way of activating the missing mp3 player in the 6256i because there is nothing to activate in the phone.Also there is no mp3 player software you can load on the phone.The only thing you can do is use the limited playing ability the 6256i has. Its' a shame because the Nokia 6255i has a nice MusicPlayer.
