Help with Nokia 6255i simple questions!

Thanks in advance! I have a NOkia 6255i that I need help with. 1. I found out that a micro sd is the memory card I can add, so I added one, but it doesnt show up anywhere! How do I do this! Thanks!

The 6255i takes full size mmc or the newer rs-mmc with the adapter. The phone can't see sd at all. The sd format card has more pins than mmc and they are recessed.
