Current T-Mobile Pocket PC - Considering upgrade to iPAQ h6315
I'll pay if it will work (HP iPaq h6315);
I currently own the T-Mobile Pocket PC. I did not hesitate to pay the premium $600 for it nearly 2 years ago. I was switching from my Blackberry (Blackberry's phone version came out several months after I made the switch) with Cingular internet access and Nextel for my phone plan to the All-in-One T-Mobile Pocket PC. I spent countless hours on the phone with T-Mobile support and thought the technicians were working with me in every way they could. After several phone swaps and unsuccessful attempts to access my companies proxy server, and multiple know main spots around town where calls would drop and reception was always week, including around the airport, I finally decided to give up and...

I have the $20/month internet plan and the speed is about the same as dialup, maybe a tad bit slower.
I installed flash player on it and it renders most flash enabled websites.
My business depends highly on me having web access and it has been great. I can be logged on to MSN, AOL, Yahoo messengers all at once without a problem.
When I hook it up to my WiFi broadband it's real nice. I can walk around the house with what I call a "WiFi Walkman" streaming music or whatever with my headphones on đ .
I did have a problem getting online at first. I had to login to connection settings and find and enter an "access point setting" set to internet2.voicestream.com. I originally had wap....

Help, please!
I do not want to hijack the thread, but I doubt Verizon will carry this phone anytime soon! âšī¸ They JUST picked up the Treo600, and it has been on the streets for a long time (by cell phone standards). đ I'll gladly swap stories with you concerning the Treo (this is the hijack....sorry everyone, I am just trying to help). I went from the Samsung I300, to the I330, to the I600...and now the Treo. Apples and oranges when comparing the Treo and the HP. A friend at work switched to TMO for the HP.....I stuck with VZW. We compare them everyday....many times a day. If there was a way to combine the best things of each one.....we'd make millions! đ
Well, I am a little concerned that I might diminish the great coverage I have vith VZW by switching to TMO to get the 6315. Are you REALL REALLY pleased with the Treo 600? The more I investigate it the better I like it, even though it is PALM based (which is like "Windows 3.1"). I held the IPAQ 6315 and feel that it is too bulky. The Treo is way more streamlined. If ya really want to complicate the situation, VZW is CDMA, which is old technology, vs Deutch Telecomm (or whateve TMO really is) has the newer technology used all over the real world. Waddaya think?
Yes, I am very pleased with the Treo. Is the HP more feature-packed? I believe so. I absolutely love it!!! The sticking point for my friend, and for me, is the carrier. Don't get me wrong!!! TMO is a GREAT GSM carrier, but we are an active duty Navy family, wife lives (stationed) in Key West, son and I live in VA....you get the point. We need a carrier that works almost everywhere....and we can take advantage of the unlimited mobile-to-mobile.
I have added a few things to the Treo that I wouldn't have needed to add to the HP. I only connect to the internet occasionally, so that ...
