The problem with reviewing an LG phone
My understanding is that this was a sporadic hardware issue, mostly with just one model (the G4).
I'm confident that we've done the best review possible, within reason. If we had any reason to believe this might be a problem with the V20, it would require buying multiple units and using them daily for a long period of time. That's not practical for any review organization.
But we don't have any reason to believe it would be a problem with this model. It was a specific hardware design issue with the G4, and this model is constructed very differently. Furthermore, I imagine LG is anxious to avoid that issue again, and has made sure all future models avoid it. This model was designed in time to learn from...

Not sure how anxious LG was to avoid the issue. They knew about it way before they released the V10, yet they didn't fix the manufacturing issue, and just released it anyway knowing that there was a good chance it would die.
