Finger scanner on the back ?

Does anyone that actually makes use of this in their vehicle see a problem with this ?
While I do agree that you can pair your device to unlock automatically when paired to a certain BT device like a car, I do have issues with that in general.

If I put my phone in its car cradle and want to unlock it... I have 3 options
1. Type in password (ugh)
2. Retina scan (not likely)
3. Touch with finger unlock.

Ok - if that's on the back of my phone, while its in a cradle, its not likely going to be feasible, just as driving while attempting to do a retina scan.

Clearly didn't think this part through for those on the road that don't want 'auto unlock' with BT.

you can also use a pattern to unlock which is entirely reasonable to do with a phone in a cradle. Works great...

I Don't have a cradle to use it in the car , the phone has blue tooth and I leave it in my pocket, and if you use it for gps it will stay on if it is giving you directions.
I understand the concern over the scanner on the back, but I had the S7 and the fingerprint scanner was built into the home button and I always had to preposition my finger to get it to work.
So far I like it I just put my finger on the scanner and it opens the phone right away. My only thing is the phone is so tall you just have to hold the phone a little higher, ( I should have gotten the S8 Not the S+) I mean your index finger is on the back anyway, and I have really no problem using it.
