problems with ringtones....
So...I just put songs on my v3m and they work fine. Well, I made a ringtone out of a song, and i moved it to my phone from my transflash card. Well...it wont play.
I used audacity to do it and I exported it as a mp3, since my phone has mp3 ringtones. It doesn't work, does anyone know how to get it to work?

I had the same problem and it's because the V3's accept only AMD files. Yes the phones plays mp3 files but in order to use your own music you have to convert it.
There is a site www.FreeRingers.net which is the Savior!
It's unlimited ring tones polyphonic and real. The best thing is that whatever song you have on your hard drive, cd, or whatever can be converted to an AMD file and sent directly to your phone. Freeringers also provides the software to make ALL conversions. It's AWESOME... Once you sign up you'll never go to another ring tone site and it's 7.00 a year, yes 7.00 dollars.
