I have a brand new V3 for sale. It is new in the box and everything is sealed. I won the phone through the learn to earn contest and have a 6230 which I am currently using instead of the V3. quick question on the unlock, i was under the impression that the phone did not come unlocked, you use a data cable???

Maybe the Learn to Earn phones are unlocked? I haven't tested mine with another SIM yet, but it's possible.

Ohhhh, I just stuck a customers old ATT SIM into my phone and it came up as "Unregistered SIM" instead of asking for a proprietary lock code. I guess that means mine's unlocked and it was a Learn to Earn phone, his likely is too.

lol because it is way easier to reviece e-mail through my primary account as i just have to click a program rather than loging into an account an admiinistering a password and login.

All Cingular world phones are unlocked. Once the V3 price goes down which it will (check wirefly.com for $399), I will be purchasing a phone w/o service and contract so I can use it overseas.
