2 problems with my V3

On the motorola website I thought I saw this phone has MPEG video on it. How come I can not take videos with my phone. I've tried every button. All I can do is take pictures. My cousin's cheap phone can take video, but my $500 phone can't? Thats just wrong. Is there something I need to download?
Also....this darn Bluetooth is worthless. I've tried to connect to my girlfriend's palm Tungsten T for about a month now. I've even gone to Palm.com and downloaded updated bluetooth files....but the V3 wasn't on the list. What gives? I can't set up my Girlfriend's Palm to recognize my phone.
This sucks!!

I think it was preety much common knowledge that the Razr did not take video. When phones are capable of doing both they make statements such as " Records and plays video". Playback is jsut that, playback. Don't be mad at Motorola because you misunderstood, you can fix that if you are really unhappy and don't want it anymore.
Bluetooth issues could be discovery. Make sure you have bluetooth on and enable the "find me" if you want other devices to see it. The find me only stays on for 60 secs(security I guess?).
On my pc, pda and my phones, I sometimes have to power off and on to reset, kinda like Windows 98 when programs bombed.
If you got your phone at a store, the Cingular return policy is 30days, so you have time. If on-line or...

My point is when I saw some cheap arse phone that can take video and then looked at my phone and wondered....why didn't they make it do that....I got mad. I was just expecting the phone to be state of the art, but now I realize that its not. OK ...boo hoo..I'll get over it. And as far as the bluetooth thing goes. I've tried everything.....power on.....find me.....I'm just a step away from smashing the two together on the pavement. Maybe thats how bluetooth works...with force.

Don't curse out others because you apparently didn't do even basic research before you laid out 5 bills for a cell phone. It IS "state of the art" in terms of construction and technology. It just doesn't have EFNTM. If it did, it wouldn't be as light or compact. Get it?
You might want to cut back on the caffeine a little. if the BT isn't working, you're either A) doing something wrong or B) have a defective phone or device (probably from being smashed on the pavement).
BTW, it doesn't have a QWERYTY keyboard, either. Figured I'd save you the time of trying to pry it open to find it.

Listen, I laid down $500 bills so I could have a cool phone. Nothing more , nothing less....if I wanted functionallity I wouldv't stuck with my V60. But I would rather be materialistic and pompous than practical. I worked hard for that $500 and if I want to complain , then dammit I will complain. I love the phone...hate the features. So what? Don't read my posts anymore you tool!!!

thats exactly why i returned my v3 for the v551 because what's so special about this phone for 500.00 and it does not do anything special except look pretty but feature wise it sucks.

Another AOL user with issues, glad you took the phone back, now you can stay away from our forum with your whining, and when you get your BT stack working in windows, you can cry to others about how their equipment sucks due to your ignorance in setting it up.

i have help for you! i have a palm zire 72 and the razr as well. after 20 mins of messing with it i just told my plam it was a nokia 3650 and continued pairing. worked like a charm. after it finds the phone it will just change the name anyways. now i can use the razr as a modem, or exchange files. the only problem i've found so far doing it this way is that i cant use my palm to dial directly from it's address book.
