Using V3 on T-Mobile

I bought a V3 from a general cell phone retailer. Apparently they come unlocked from Cingular. I paid no Cingular contract and just dropped my T-Mobile SIM card in and it worked like a charm. No magic to it.

Less than $500...it is available at a lot of places. I used a $100 credit from T-Mobile to offset the cost.

I just switched from a V710....no comparison. The feel, design, etc. of the phone is great. I also use a Blackberry and having one charger for both is also a plus. I also like the fact that it has no antenna. I have only used it for a day so I am curious about battery life (the battery is small) and reception.

I just got my V3 from Intelenetwireless.com with a Cingular contract. I put my T-Mo sim which is still active and the phone asked for a Subsidy code. Does this mean that I can't use my T-Mo Sim in this phone?

In your case which is rare, most v3's are unlocked, you will have to go online and look for a company to unlock it or you can ask cingular to.
