About a week ago I was looking for a case for my razr...I didnt like any thing a the local cellular stores or radioshack...I read a post on phonescoop about a company called motophonecases.com ...I went on their site and ordered severa different codi cases for my v3...I found the owner of the company to be very helpful and service oriented with her emails...A rare occurance today on the net...today I received my cases WOW!!!!! the case fits the phone like a second skin keeping its slim profile...the leather is A+++ and does not hide the beauty of the phone while giving it some protection...This case is a great addition to the phone ...you can see how it fits on their website....I hope this is helpful to those who want a case for their v3 ra...

I also ordered and received a Codi case for my Razr from motophonecases.com. I concur with everything that clarman said regarding the product, as well as the vendor. Top rate case, reasonable price, and very responsive site owner (Anny). I could not be more pleased.
Yes, it was difficult waiting for the case to arrive (approximately 2 weeks, as was promised), but I had no choice, as I was not able to find anyone else on the planet who could supply with a case specifically made for the Razr. I did not want to go with a universal case, as why should I pay $500 for a sleek phone, to have it made to look big and bulk by a generic case.
Now if only someone would come out with a Razr specific holster ...

When this one finally comes to the US, and I hope it does, it will be a very nice OEM multi-function case (but not a holster).

I did get one of the clear plastic holsters off eBay and the quality is very good with no flashing or other injection-moulding issues. My only complaint is the depth of the clip that doesn't fit over even thin belts like the Motorola OEM holsters do.

Here is the item # for one on ebay. I did order yesterday and will post my staisfaction here when I get it.
I did order a clip for my Nokia 6230 that was not OEM and it is ok, but not great. These are hit and miss but for $8, who cares. I just don't want it to fall out or scratch the camera glass.

Might be good, so far I found a Moto pouch which looks great and protects the phone itself, only thing I wish is that it had cutouts in the leather for the speaker, however it still rings very loud and one can hear it.
Unlike the one on moto's site, this one holds closed with velcro, and the hook poart is on the pouch, as to avoid scratching the phone during insertion/removal.
All in all for $12, I believe it was a good buy.

The web-site says the case comes with a swing clip. I looked at the v600 case as an example and saw that the back of the case has like this button there, which sticks out. I guess that's where you can attach/detach the clip. Does the V3 case also have that protruding thingy?

the v3 case does not rotate or swivel or release from its clip...when you want to take the phone off your belt you pull the phone away from your body and lift up and the phone comes away from whatever it is secured to. I prefer this type of case as I have had too many cases of phones coming loose from its clip by the release button being pushed inadvertanty by my body or rubbing against a golf bag while walking ect. the case also comes with a d ring which can either attach to the phone or be removed easily from the case so you may hang the phone and case on the dash of car like a picture on a wall... hope this helps

I've found my case, though is doesnt have a swivel clip to be useful, one undoes the velcro strap and pull out then flip open the phone, easy.

Well, what I was looking for was just a case, not a belt clip at all. And I was hoping that this case didn't have any signs of a belt clip at all, if I wanted to use it that way.

Sounds like you want the same one I want but so far I've only seen it in the UK (available soon) but the etailer does NOT ship to the US. I emailed and asked for an exception but was told no. Its a Motorola OEM case with NO clip.

I still like the functional organizer from Motorola shown on the Mobile Fun UK web site but until it gets to the cellular black hole (AKA: USA), I may try a few alternatives.

Hey, thinking about it, my case is perfect if you want to secure it to the inside of a briefcase, wouldn't you want to clip ti to the indise folders of the briefcase, thus keeping it frommoving?

Yeah, I got all excited reading this the other day, thinking I might actually be able to get a case for my baby. I anxiously went to that website and boom ! Sold out til Jan or Feb. I was so bummed. If I knew about that site a month ago, I would have bought a case the day I bought the phone. So, anyone reading... they are SOLD OUT ! ☹️

Not all of the cases are sold out. The special edition is still available with about 8 left. The Razr case demand is huge this christmas season and we've imported as much as we thought we could sell before the end of the year. It seems it still is in wide demand.

I ended up listing it on Ebay and it is now an active auction with one bid on it. the price listed is price i sell on site so unless there's a huge demand for this case, you may still be able to get the case at the site price. it is free shipping when i sell via ebay too so you do save money.

You know, this website is completely SOLD OUT. But I did a search and at Marcel.com (I think) I found the same case. I bought it, with tax came to $21.98. So, there are other websites offering the same thing. Do a search for V3 Leather Cases, you'll find it.
