I have a question on my phone. If I have my V3 off, and I recieve a call (from someone I dont know) and the person leaves a voicemail, how can I get the number that they called from? I know how to get the time, but my friend left me a "Call me back at this number" and I cant find the number. It doesnt show up under recent calls, and I dont know how to get it in voicemail. Thanks!

Sorry-- you are SOL. Sprint Voicemail has a great feature,,touch 8 and it calls the number back, plus the Sprint voicemail gives you the calling number. That is one feature I miss a lot after porting from Sprint.

I have called Cing tech support (I'm in Kansas City area), and they dont have any idea if or when that feature may be offered on voice mail. They do however recognise the need for it. At least they admitted that.

It's interesting, did they leave a message saying call me back, or the selection for a numeric page?

Well, working in Cingular Tech Support, I can verify that if the phone if off, we have no way of telling you where that call came from. Our network just doesn't support that. I have heard that Sprint has that number read back system, whether the phone is on or off. But that is CDMA and we are GSM. So, yes, you are SOL. Sorry....
