Voice Commands Help
Does anyone know if the Voice Dialing button on the side of the phone is the same button you use for speaking the voice commands assigned to shortcuts? I have setup voice commands for a few of my shortcuts, but when I click the voice dialing button on the side of the phone and speak the command, the phone tells me it doesn't recognize the name. This feature works fine for dialing contacts stored in the phone book, but it won't work for the shortcuts. Has anyone been able to use the feature successfully?
Also, is there anyway to create a voice command for redialing?

I also am stumped via the voice dial/connect feature. I have contacted Cingular and also Motorola and none of them can help me because, "it's a new phone".
Like you, I have also added a voice entry to my address book and associated a voice name to that entry. However, this is what I don't understand. I am trying to place a voice name when the door is closed and push the right side soft key button to get it to prompt me to say the name, however it doesn't and I was wondering how you get it to dial the voice name once it's set up in the address book?
It makes no sense that I have to go to the address book and put it on the entry that I wish to dial, then push the voice connect button, say the name. Can I push the button when the door is clos...

I have a i95cl with Nextel and I am thinking about going to cingular and V3. As a i95cl owner, would you recommend this move? Seems like you are running into problems.

Ok, here is the situation. I had nextel i95c for over 2 1/2 years now. I just moved to a more rural area and my nextel service is horrid. I can't get any voice mails until about 4 days later at 4am. So, for xmas my wife got me the new Razr phone. I absolutely love it. What I was having problems with is, the handsfree feature. On the nextel 95 you can push the top button, then it says "say name" and you'd speak the name of the contact you wished to call. On the new razr phone you can't do it while the flip is closed, but can do it while the flip is open. UNLESS, you have a bluetooth headset, then you can do it, closed or open. I was not sure how to get the feature to work and was having a hard time due to the documentation from Cingular and M...

Thanks alot for the info Jason. I think I may make the move from Nextel to Cingular very soon. I will miss my i95cl and free incoming calls. Nextel never seems to have the latest and greatest in phones. They do not have one BT phone available. I need to add a phone for my wife and Cingular/AT&T seems to have the best deal. I travel alot and the BT will be great. I also have reception problems with Nextel, especially in offices. Tired of talking by a window.
