Problem with V3 Wallpaper jpegs?
I was having a bit of trouble with my wallpaper - although I had put some jpegs on my V3 that were 450x488 pixels and 96kb in size, some smaller jpegs (210x283 36kb) would not work - I would get a message saying that the image was too large. I sometimes got the small preview of the image, but not the main image itself.
This was annoying so I went through the files that worked and failed, and the only difference I could find was to do with their compression:
In Photoshop (or similar) when you save the jpeg, make sure it has Baseline 'Standard' compression rather than Progressive Compression. Also, it helps if you add a '.jpg' extension to the file (if you are using a mac) for the file to be recognised in transfer.
