What is the small round circle to the side of external speaker?
It looks like how you gain access to the speaker.

External antenna connector. That is where the internal antenna resides (also the speaker) but if you look on this posting site (I forget where) someone has posted a link for "spare parts" for the V3 and you can see the internal antenna and this little antenna port.

Thanks all, for your replies. The ext antenna connector seems to make sense, since I now know that piece of the shell is the antenna (and ext speaker) cover.
FYI... The reason I asked was that of the two nicest leather V3 cases I've seen, one covered this "circle", while the other had a cut-out for it.
