MAC PowerBook sends MP3 & pics to RAZR V3 by BlueTooth-How?

I just got the RAZR V3 paired with my MAC PowerBook G4 but when I tried to send files (MP3 or pics) to the phone, I get an error message. Has anyone done this? Also, does anyone have the codes for hooking up the GPRS for internet connection over the phone by BlueTooth? Finally, can I use any MP3 as my ringtone? Thanks for all the great help on this forum.

ok, so this is what you do....(remember you have to do the process one after the other. the v3 phone is only discoverable for a few seconds)..

go to,
-settings>connection>bluetoothlink>setup>find me
it will ask you to make your phone discoverable..of course select yes..

go to,
-systemprefrences>bluetooth>settings>check the box that says "show bluetooth status in menu bar>then..click on the bluetooth symbol on your menu bar(top right of your screen near the time)>browse device> and it should find the v3..

if you do it right a window will pop up with your phones files..

I have read reports that the software on the Razr was crippled and could not sync well with contact programs. I have also read that iSync only worked through the wired USB connection. Have you had luck using iSync for your contacts across bluetooth to a Mac? That is the only thing holding me back on this phone. Thanks.

That's the V710, not the V3 RAZR...

p.s anyone having trouble with the razr and mobile phone tools..just unistall everything..mpt.drivers..etc..then......

Install the drivers for the v3 first!!!(this is crucial)..then make sure they are installed correctly..device manager should have no question marks...the drivers are avaliable at moto.com( remember they are modem drivers so dont panic...i did..i was like what the hell man..i dont need a modem driver..but umm yeah i did..)....with that lil tid bit of information you should be cool..and smooth sailin from here...
