s710a or Razr

I am getting ready to either purchase the new Sony Ericsson s710a or the Razr. Reception quality is the main criteria for me, since I live in a rural area. Naturally, both phones have cool features. In addition, I read somewhere that a newer version of the Razr is soon to be released with EDGE capability. Are there any recommendations? Thanks!

I agree, with the exception that the Razr has bluetooth file transfer. Verizon removed that to increase their profit margins. Like they weren't making enough of the air time.

The s710a isn't a Verizon phone,it's for Cingular. Cingular allows the OBEX Bluetooth profile on its phones.

Personally, the 710 was too big and bulky for me. It is pretty large and thick when you flip it open. Both have very nice picture quality. I guess it depends on what you will be using on the phone. I like the thinness and how light the Razr is, I also have great reception. 😁
