Motorola RAZR V3
Worst phone I had!
I have had this phone for about a month now and I think that I can say that this is the worst phone I've had in about 8 years. The voice dial is a joke, the address book is slow responding and the software design hard to use.
This is the sixth Motorola phone I've owned. The first was a traditional car phone. my first portable wasn't a Moto phone but i came back because Moto was the easiest to get accessories for. My first Moto portable was a StarTac. That was a good phone.
This experience and the one I had with the v710 has made me question buying another Motorola phone. Although the faults with the 710 are the fault of Verizon's greed and not Motorola's stupidity.

I guess RF quality and how the phone holds a call isn't part of your phone assessment. As a phone, this one is by far the best when it comes to making and holding onto calls.
I had many different makes and models of cell phones over the past 15 years and the V3 is by far the best when it comes to actually doing the job of a phone...

Well now that you mention it, this phone sucks at making and holding calls as well. About half the calls I (try to) make are dropped on the others either I have trouble hearing them or they have trouble hearing me.

Naah ..... You just wish to be negative, even the people who have had issues witht eh phone still have stated it has been the best phone in terms of reception and holding calls.
Perhaps you just cant get a good signal from a padded cell.

Man, I have GREAT reception with my Razr. Hey, maybe it isnt ALL Razr's, maybe it's just yours. Or you are in a crappy coverage area. I mean, in the 5 months I have had mine, I have dropped a call or gotten "Call Failed, Retry" maybe 4 or 5 times max. And I am always using it. Try sending it into Motorola for warrenty repair...sounds like you have a bad phone to me...
