Keypd Light / Voicemail Indicator

My keypad light does not go on...anyone know the cure?

My Voicemail indicator does not seem to go on when I have voicemail (ATT/Cingular)...any ideas on this issue?

Motorola's have a feature that turns the lighting off/down in bright light.

What city are you in? What software version do you have? Have not heard of this with V3, and I personally have not had the problem.
