Setting up Shortcuts ...

Hey all ... I'm not sure if anyone can help, however I need to ask because this is already bugging me. I just bought the Motorola Razr (which I love), however everything I read says that I can create shortcuts for all 4 d-pad functions and for the 2 soft keys at the top of the phone. How do I do that? I can't find information on how to create shortcuts to those buttons ... all I can get is a shortcut that I have to hit the menu key and a number. Any information would be greatly appreciated ...

Go to page 78 of your phone manual and follow the instructions for "Show or Hide Menu Icons".One there figure out which shortcut you want to change and then scroll down and select. Hope this helps.
