I would like to purchase the Black V3, but I think the Black V3 may show wear earlier. With, or without keys in pocket. What do you think?

You're not going to want to put this in a pocket with keys. It has a screen on the outside that would get scratched/broken.
As far as durability of the case, I find the silver case to be very scratch resistant, I would expect the black will be as well. I'd be really surprised if it was silver painted black, as opposed to molded out of black plastic. Way more expensive to paint.
