Problems with Motorola Razr linking to HS850 Bluetooth

V3RAZRFAN

Hello,

I recently bought the Razr and the Bluetooth HS850. I tried to link them together last night and it kept on telling me that there were no devices found. I read both of the manuals to see if i was doing it right and i was. I tried to do everything i could by turning the bluetooth off and leaving the phone on and visa versa but nothing worked. I'm thinking of going to back to cingular to finding out what the problem is. Maybe its because i do not know my way around on the phone yet, i recently had a Nokia 8890 so this is more advanced than that. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this that would be great.

Thanks

Fixed it by reading the tiny flyer type manual for the headset. You've got a very specific procedure to mate the phone to the headset with buttons to push, a code to enter (0000) is the default.

Get the manual online at Motorola if you don't have it available.

You have to keep the button depressed on the earpiece. Once the light turns on, link it up.
