VERIZON pricing and availability

I've heard that the Razr for Verizon is coming out on the 17th of November. Does anyone know if this is true and also what the price will be? I am debating purchasing the E815 or waiting for the Razr. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I currently have the LG 8100 and seem to keep having these annoying little problems and I’m thinking about possibly switching to another model, but I just haven’t found anything else I like yet. Then, my mom starts talking about the pink RAZR she saw on TV and how she wants it and then it got me to thinking about it.

Does anyone know anything about the quality of the ringers/ringtones/MP3s on this phone? The 8100 I have now has those dual speakers, and while they aren’t the next best thing to sliced bread, they are pretty doggone good and I don’t want to go backward in that respect.

Has anyone compared the V3 with the 8100? Thanks!

Piggy, I can't speak for everyone, but IMO this forum is for V3 users, not V3C (or whatever the CDMA version will be called). They're different phones with different markets and different customers. Candidly, I'm surprised PhoneScoop hasn't satarted a forum for the phone you're interested in. I personally have zero information to share, and zero interest in knowing more about the phone.

Just thought you might like to know at least one possile reason why you're not getting much response.

Piggys,
I have both the VX8100 and the V3. I cannot make a comparison of the sound as far as MP3's between the 2 phones because the v3 only has 5MB of memory (not enough to put an MP3 on it). But I can say that MP3 ringtones sound almost as good on the V3 as they do on the VX8100, but not quite as good.

I am sure the V3c will be a little bit better than the V3 for sound quality as it is a year later....they had to update something.

Thanks! I noticed the V3c is listed as coming soon on VZW's website when you do a search for "Motorola Razr V3c". I think I'm going to take a look at the phone when it's here and see if I'm going to switch. I understand the V3c is going to be somewhat different than the V3 that is currently out, but between the ones you have now (8100 and V3) which one do you like better?

Thanks!

Other than the volume problem with the 8100, I like it much better than the RAZR V3. But the V3c will have some enhancments (EVDO and more memory) to the original V3. If the V3c gets the same voice dial system as the e815, v710, and the 8100, I will like it better than the 8100. But if you have to record all of your own voice dials, and are limited to the number of them, I will not like it.
