Motorola RAZR V3

I have turned a lemon into lemonade! I lost my V3 silver that I bought in April. I went to buy the black razr (painful $300.00). I found that whatever new software Moto put into the new phone, the link is now much better! I can now use the MMI's (multi media interface) soft key for End Call to actually end the calls. On my silver razr I had to hit the end button on the phone. Now I can just hit the button on my car's console. It might be worth it spending the $300 big ones to have use of the phone that works! 🙂

I was thinking about getting the Moto Razr V3 and before i bought it if this was a good phone or if it was a waste of money and if i should get a different one. any input will be appreciated.

i read that Motorola has unvailed the Razr V3i which will have iTunes, Video capture, and a 1.23 megapixel camera with full-screen zoom..and they say that there is an "updated" style....sounds good cuz it seems add all of the new features that motorla offers....what do y'all think about this????

How do I find out the storage limits of my phone. I can't seem to find out the storage capacity of the phone itself for ringtones, phone numbers, etc.

I've heard that the Razr for Verizon is coming out on the 17th of November. Does anyone know if this is true and also what the price will be? I am debating purchasing the E815 or waiting for the Razr. Any thoughts?

I picked up a Razr today and had no problem pairing it with my 05 Grand Cherokee's built-in handsfree system. Nor did I have an issue connecting to my Mac Powerbook and easily moving files back and forth. However, it seems when I do not poweroff the Bluetooth from the Razr before I poweroff the Bluetooth from the other source (car, mac) I get a white screen on the Razr. I can hear the keytones, so I know it is still operational, but all I get on the screen is white. If I close it, I see the regular desktop, time, etc on the exterior screen. Open again, and white screen. I have to repower the phone to get back to normal.

What's up? Bad phone? Known Issue? Easy fix?

Does anyone know of a hardwired headset with a mini USB plug besides the one offered by Motorola? I have a bluetooth but prefer a hardwired unit. A USB/2.5mm adapter would work but I have been unabled to find one. Thanks..

I am trying to use my RAZR as a modem. I have the Bluetooth established and have set up the modem with dial up wizard and MPT. when I try to dial up my isp the Razr lites up, sounds 3 quick tones and within a FEW seconds I get a response that the computer at the other end is not responding. I emphasize this happens within 2 or 3 seconds after sending the dial command. Anyone have any ideas. This happens when I am connected with Bluetooth or usb and if I am using the XP or the MPT created connections.

I've asked our IT people to get me set up to be able to dial in using my RAZR and access the netwrok, including e-mail. They are telling me using the phone as a modem is a "pain" and are suggesting instead an EDGE card in my PC. They're supposed to come by today to tell me more.

Any thoughts are appreciated.....

I'll also report back what they tell me, and the costs involved.

I've taken about 20 pictures with my RAZR and most of them have come out very blurry. The only pictures that came out somewhat clear were a few feet away. ALL pictures of distant objects were very blurry, even though they were taken in bright light to minimize the effects of camera shake.

Is everyone having this same experience or do I have a faulty camera in my phone?

I have the black RAZR & on the first one that I got (before I exchanged it for an identical one), one problem I had was that when using the outter display for a "portrait picture" I would press & hold the Smart Key so I could see my self on the outter screen. When I would press the Smart Key to actually take the picture, it would say "Picture Capture Failed" & then when I open the phone, the top half of the main screen would be a blur of colors, then would switch back to the regular wallpaper. Has anyone else had a problem with this? Because now with my 2nd black RAZR, it has started to happen again...

i've had a razr for about 4 months now and it's gone through some serious crap. about a week after i got it i dropped it in the delaware. unfortunately the camera was ruined, but luckily the rest of the phone still worked. upsetting, but at least i didn't lose my whole investment.

about two weeks ago i was using my razr in the rain (not a great idea, i know). the conversation was long, and i wasn't in the right frame of mind to realize how bad of an idea that was. the only button that is fully functional 100% of the time is the power button. my phone turns on, but the top left button keeps being triggered without being pressed, or whenever i press any other key they also somehow trigger that top left soft key. the phone has perio...
