Motorola RAZR V3

Can anyone help with troubleshooting?
I purchased from MOTO (downloaded) then ran Live update. I cannot get it to see my phone. Tech help from MOto is non existant.
Help.

Has anyone tried charging their phone with a USB cable? I was told a simple USB to 5 wire adapter works, and that it should charge without software. But it doesn't seem to work. I did not buy drivers, software, etc because I don't use my phone as a PDA. Any thoughts? Thanks.

i recently migrated from att to cingular, i purchased the razr , a friend at work has the v551 and it seems to have all the features the razr has, im still have time remaining on my 30 days im thinking of sending the razr back and picking up the v551 , i can get the v551 for 79.99 with a 50.00 mail in rebate the razr cost me 199.99 they did give me a 59.99 credit.i just cant decide which phone is better, any suggestions would be appreciated.

what games does this phone come with, I'm thinking about getting it and everyone that i know that has it says everything on the phone is primative.

Starting this morning I cannot access my voicemail from my RAZR. I've used the RAZR since August 2004 with AT*T and never had a problem until this morning)

Cingular says it's because I am using an unlocked phone, which I know is bullshit.

However, they will not help me fix the problem.

Does anyone have a similar problem or can you give me some assistance.

I downloaded some ringtones and when I set it for a specific person, it always plays as their text tone as well.

Is there a way to have a ringtone and a text tone that are different for a single person?

i've downloaded some ringtones and for some reason when i use a plantronics bluetooth headset the the ringtones default to the basic ring. anyone know of a way to keep my downloaded ringtone?

My father just bought the new Razr 3 from Cingular and is having problems trying to enter multiple contact numbers like fax, mobile, home, and office instead of having multiple contacts for one person with multiple numbers. Please help. Any and ALL assistance will be greatly appreciated. Is motorola trying to make making a call impossible or just harder????? WTF

I was wondering if the RAZR would be out in any other new colors? I know of the pink one but is there going to be a stock red or any others? Thanks!

I just got my new Razr from T-mobile today and for some reason, i cant delete the images and ringtones that they "preinstalled". Is there any way for me to delete them cause they are using up my memory.

Just got a new RAZR and i was trying all of the things on the main menu. I clicked media net and when it was connecting I stopped it and then said aprroximately 1000 bytes were tansferred. Does that mean i have to pay for this?

Can anyone help me, my mate has just bought a v3 and I have an XDA IIi, when I try to link them using bluetooth I get the usual passcode question and I am putting the same 4 digits into both machines but I keep getting an "invalid pin" message from the v3. Both devices are British spec and on the O2 network.

hey, i was looking to buy the razr either with T Mobile or Cingular ( T Mobile being cheaper) and was wondering which of the two service providers are the better of them?? are there any differences with the phone besides the mothly cost? ( web, extras, service) thanks

I was just in a cingular store today when i asked the lady if there would be any new phones coming out soon for Cingular. She wispered that they had just heard about the new razor coming out early december, and she thinks this is called the razr V8.

If anyone else has heard this, please confirm with me so i know if i should wait for that or not. Thanks

Has this been covered? Does the Cingular RAZR support any kind of analog communication? Is there an analog spec for GSM?

I go to a lot of places (mountains) that don't get digital signals, but get analog signals. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and get the V710 now (analog capable), or wait for RAZR late this year/early next year if it will have some sort of GSM analog capability (if it exists?)?

GSM+Analog? GSM only digital? New Verizon RAZR to do analog'ness?

I bought a DLINK bluetooth adapter for my computer.

I'm trying to send an mp3 to my tmobile razr.

It recognizes my razr (not sure my razr recognizes my pc though)

Error Message says: The file transfer was not successfull because bluetooth didnt respond, make sure OBEX file push profiles installed.

Anyone have any advice?

About one week ago I purchased you Razr V3 from T-Mobile. Overall, it’s all I expected, but I’ve recently discovered two problems that I believe can be called firmware bugs.
· If you apply a custom ring tone to any number it works fine. However, once the Bluetooth headset is connected the custom tone is cancelled and the default is used. Removing the headset returns the ring tone back to the custom assigned. I’ve been discussing this on line. It turns out that other models offer suffer from this bug. The purpose of the custom ring tone is to identify a caller. In a hands free situation where the phone is in my pocket, this operation defeats the principal.

I have the Virgin Mobile Slider pre-paid phone and i am looking to get the V3 Razr from Cingular. Can i bring my pre-paid cell number to my new phone from cingular??

First question, I have custom ringers for specific callers, and when they send me Text messages, I hear the same tone and think it's a call. Is there a way to JUST have the ringer ID apply to the Call?

And is there a way to remove the large default pictures that are locked?
