Motorola RAZR V3

is there a way to clear out info (including my current phone number) out of a verizon razr? Looking to sell on e-bay

back in march, you offered to give away free ringtones. i was wondering how i would get one on my cingular razr v3.

also if you have the Live of Let Die james bond theme, that would be great! 🙂

does anyone have any tips on making a ringtone with the imelody thing (under sounds)?
ie. length of notes, putting in sharps and flats, etc.

My phone doenst have a date on the home screen. Does anyone know how to put it on?

I'm having trouble synching with my Razr. I haven't had problems before but today it just won't happen. It seems to happen when snyching the 'events' (after snynching the 'contacts'). Again, I've not had problems before. I thought it might be that the memory on the phone was full so I changed 'delete events after' to 4 weeks instead of 8. The error I get is below. I'm hopeless (dramitic) with out my phone calendar as it's with me more than the computer. Any ideas or similar experiences?

Edit: I restarted both the phone and the computer without luck

i did do a quick search and i didn't see this question anywhere ,so i'll just ask . I used to have an LG C1500 and i hated it so recently (yesterday) i bought a silver razrV3 (loving it so far) my only problem is that my old saved text messages don't seem to show up in my new phone , they're there when i put my sim card in my old phone but only the most recent 7 show up in the new one . Does anyone know how (or have any little tricks i can try) to make all my texts show up in the new phone?

I recently became a T-mobile subscriber and have an odd problem. My RAZR V3 and V3i notify me of new voicemails with text messages containing strange symbols (@, *, etc.) I don't get voicemail notification with these phones, only weird text messages. I tried a few different t-mobile SIM cards; all had the same result. Strange thing is the moto's only do this with a T-mobile SIM card inserted. If I use a Cingular SIM card I receive voicemail notification properly on both phones. How do I receive voicemail notification, rather than text messages when I receive a new voicemail? If it helps, both of my RAZR's are factory direct, unbranded, and unlocked. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

For some reason my after talking on my Bluetooth headset the phone says "Weak Bluetooth signal, swith to handset". Was wondering if anyone has experienced this before?

ok, so i bought a razr v3 BLACK in july,
i got it off of Buy.com for free
these last 3 weeks it has been turing on and off very frequently.
so i called cingular, and they told me to call the insurance ppl,
so i did,
they said it wood b 50$ to get a new 1, i dont want to do tht b.c i dont have the money...
and i think my fone was made b4 they put tht recall out b.c i think tht Buy.com has a huge stash (SP?) of them and they cood have been made a long time a go.. so i was wondering if i cood get it fixed for free, hopefully,... and i also have the protection plan on it....

I just got a v3 im testing it out and firstly trying to find and connect with other bluetooth phones.
I tested with my dads phone a samsung d500, i switched the bluetooth on and the phone visability.
When i search devices via the samsuing it can find my phone but when i search devices using my v3 it always comes up "no devices found" when the other phone is in range and activated.

Im searching devices via the bluetooth link> Hands-free>Look for devices ( this is how the manual told me to)

is this correct??, how can i connect to other bluetooth phones??????? (I must know!!!)

I am anal how I take care of my cell phones. But I have gone through five Razr's in the last three months!! For some reason the newer version V3 Razr's are not as durable as the first run originals. Reasons for my exchanges range from dust under the LED screen, dust or foreign particles under the right side of the keypad, problems with powering on the phone, and video problems with the video recorder malfunctioning when in use. Also I HATE WHEN YOU HAVE THE PHONE ON A VPA OR A HOME CHARGER AND YOUR SOUND SETTINGS SWITCH AUTOMATICALLY TO THE HATEFUL "LOUD" MODE! I called Motorola Tech Support about this and they it is standard on all Motorola phones. That sucks because if you're having a meeting say, like I do, in my car or at my home it swit...

😕 When I play songs with my V3m, the sound comes out of the speakerphone and not the HT820 Bluetooth headphones. The headphones are paired with my RAZR. I can make telephone calls with the Bluetooth Headphones. Also, when I hook up the cheap Music Essentials wired headphones I can listen to music. Can someone help me get music through the Ht820 headphones? Thanks.

I am wondering if there is a way to turn the backlight on for my keys so I can make calls when it is dark. The way my phone is now, it only lights the keys up when I turn the phone on, then it shuts off. I read the manual and cant find the way to turn it back on.

Hey when i got my service from t-mobile, the salesguys just put the t mobile sim card in my old V3 from cingular. It makes calls but won't do anythin else, plus i got cingular graphics all over it. Is there any way to get rid of the cingular, and unlock the t mobile so i can send pic messages/ access internet, etc. Also i was wondering if anybody knew how to activate the video camera? thanks

Anyone else have this problem? My phone turns off almost every time I try to press the red button to hang up. My wife's phone doesn't have this issue, however another friend's phone does. It's a gigantic pain in the ass, especially since sometimes it won't turn on again right away.

The flip feature works fine, but again it's a huge pain in the ass if I just want to hang up one call and call someone else.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm wondering if there is a way to use my phone as a modem. I have earthlink and would like to dial up the earthlink phone number to use my earthlink account. So I only need the phone to dial a regular phone number, just like any other phone call, it's only the computer doing the phone call. I just want to make this clear, it seems that cell one doesn't understand what I mean when I explain this. I have been told that there is an extra charge just to use the phone as a modem by cell one. So i'm not sure if they understand I ALREADY pay for internet service (earthlink) and dialing through my computer shouldn't be any extra charges.
