If NEC doesn't make the slickest damn phones around, I don't know who does. I'm hoping they addressed some of the problems with the 515 and 525...namely the reception and earpiece volume.

Well if they're using the same hardware as their asian and european cousins, this phone will have a VERY loud earpiece, and very good reception. Now....RE: the specs
I believe these specs are wrong. This model is using the same hardware as the N830 (for the chinese market) and the N410i (for the european market). Both these phones have QVGA displays, 65k external screens, 64 chord ringtones, 32MB internal memory, and Openwave browsers. In fact, that FCC manual on the phone is basically a cut and paste job throwing together pictures of the N410i and 525.
