Motorola V260 / V262
Any news on V260 at verizon stores or online?
Still waiting for verizon to directly provide a non-camera, tri-mode, external caller-id w headset answer/end. Tried the LG 4600, only had 48 hr battery life and LG seems to ignore the headset answer/end.

I waited and waited too, for exactly the same phone you are looking for from Verizon. I really wanted the V260, but could not wait any longer due to my old phone falling apart on me.
So I went ahead and got an LG 4500 last Tuesday from the Verizon store with the NE2. I charged it fully and it still has 3 out of 4 battery bars, and I have left it on continuously since I got it. I used it for about 2 hours straight the other night entering my phone book and downloading a ring tone and the battery is still 3/4 charged! It's feature-set is much improved from the LG 4600 you experienced.
No, it is not tri-mode, that is a compromise I had to make. So far I have had very good reception around town (St Louis), much better than my old T...
