Which Bluetooth headsets work properly with LG 325
Trying to get my wife a bluetooth headset that actually works correctly with the LG PM-325 phone.
I have tried the Cardo Scala 500 and it does NOT work properly it is recognized as a carkit and not a headset profile and thus does not transfer automatically, has to be done from the handset. The Jabra 250 does work correctly and fully, but was hoping to get something a little more modern than that headset.
To work correctly it should transfer audio to the headset automatically when you answer and make a call from the handset without manually transferring the audio to the headset. The Cardo is also pretty static-y unless you hold the phone a within 12 inches of the headset which defeats the purpose of the headset anyway.

By automatically answering do you mean auto answer similar to a wired headset or do you mean you can press the answer/end button on the headset and not have to touch the phone at all?
One that I have had personal success with is the Plantronics M2500, it doesn't get staticky without interference (Bluetooth runs on the same frequency as 2.4ghz home cordless phones) my only issue is that it doesn't have a noise cancelling mic, so when I ride the motorcycle I'll have to be either stopped or under 20mph.
I have also heard the Motorola HS850 is pretty good too.

What I mean is automatically transferring to headset on answer/call using handset, (or answering via headset by pushing button). What the PM325 doesn't do with the Scala is auto transfer to headset, has to be done manually, you pick up the phone and dial out a number then you have to cursor over and hit transfer to headset manually rather than it just happening (like it does on my treo with the same headset).
Thanks for the info, I was looking at the M3500 Plantronics and I have seen some of the motorolas on clearance at the local office supply stores, I'll have to check them both out. From the reviews it appears the M3500 has some degree of noise cancellation.

I have the M2500 from plantronics, I may have to look at the M3500 for the noise cancellation, I have only found ONE wired headset that I'd recommend to motorcyclists.
That would be the Plantronics M120 which has been discontinued, it doesn't have an answer end button (but that is actually a good thing, I'd rather not take my hands off the bars just to answer the call.)
In regards to Bluetooth, does anyone know of an MP3 player that will allow a bluetooth headset to be used? I've been looking into the Samsung A800 and a bluetooth adapter. I think this might be the way to go, I can answer any incoming calls automatically, and be listening to music in between calls, all on one device, with one headset. I'll post this on the A800 threads, ...

Thanks again, trying the HS850 now, was $49 AR at CompUSA right now, but again doesn't work with the phone correctly (it keeps recognizing the headsets as car kits instead of headsets). Sound is much better than scala, occasional static but overall much better. But if it doesn't auto transfer it isn't of much use.

How are you pairing it? There are two different ways to pair the headsets with the phone; one is to search and pair, and the other is to wait for the pairing. Try the other way to pair it that you aren't using, if this doesn't work this may be that you need to upgrade the software on the phone (unless it is already on version 19) or see someone at sprint about it.
I've paired an hs850 to the 325 for a customer and it worked fine, so I don't see why that would be different for you.
One thing to try would be somewhat redundant but maybe a BT adapter, this would make the phone recognize the headset as a wired headset, so you would be able to answer by pressing the answer button on the headset or you could set it up to auto answer after 2 ri...
