This should be a standard option in All business-oriented phones. Samsung, you should be more consistent with standardizing a feature that's so useful, esp. since the upcoming fashion model D500 has a speakerphone.

why would you want a speaker phone with bluetooth? get a wireless headset 😎, i personally do not find speakerphone to be all that useful of a feature because i dont like people listening in on my calls, i prefer wirless connectivity, as i have said before, you have to give to get, first people bitch and complain for samsung phones to have bluetooth now that they have that they want speakerphone too.....man there is just no pleasing american consumers sometimes
...
oh speakerphone is so useful. I could have conversations in the car, a scenario in which it's dangerous to fondle with a headset. Another scenario would be when companies put me on hold, I just put it on speakerphone, put the phone down, then multi-task. And I think its silly to wear a headset (even if its bluetooth) around all day. As a matter of fact, I could care less about bluetooth headsets as I dont want to have to buy another device that costs half as much as the phone, then carry it around all day, and worry about it charging it daily. The speakerphone comes in handy because it's built in.
It really isn't much to ask since Samsung implemented this feature on the D500 fashion phone; almost all business phones have this by now...

ok well in the car, their are bluetooth car kits, so that solves that problem, i see what you are saying about hold, but other then that i find speaker phone utterly useless

The i250 may have speakerphone. Most Windows Mobile Smartphones do.
It hasn't been listed on any of the spec sheets I've seen so far, but none of them have been totally comprehensive, either.
And so far my Samsung contacts have been unresponsive to my inquiries about this model. I get the feeling the i250 may not actually reach the market, like so many other too-good-to-be-true Samsung phones, but I certainly hope that's not the case.
Anyway... for now, I consider speakerphone to be "unknown", not "no".
Same goes for infrared - it's not clear if the i250 has that or not. Since it has Bluetooth, I'm guessing no one cares, but I try to keep track of these things anyway. 😉

oh i care, i freekin love samsung, but i dont really care much at all for a speaker phone, i just find it to be a useless feature, i think the phone will be released, samsung has had an overwhelming majority of customers who want bluetooth and they are responding now, so i doubt they would just put this out as one of those "never gets sold" models.....hell i WILL buy this phone if i am still in america when it comes out

What about vibrate? I find it hard to believe that a cell phone could be released without a vibrate feature to alert you of calls in places where ringtones are not allowed (i.e. a movie theater, etc.)
Does this phone really NOT have vibrate? Could that even be possible?
I didn' see voice dialing on their either, but I guess that should be no surprise as it wouldn't work with the Bluetooth anyways, a la the same reasons as the MPx220... Bluetooth seems like such a waste if you can't do voice dialing thru a bluetooth headset anyways...
Oh well, I am still waiting for Cingular's release of the RAZR V3 as that seems to be THE phone to have! FULL bluetooth implementation and apparently no problems with the ear piece as soooo many Mot...

its pretty clear that the phone specs on this site are not ALWAYS accurate
...
The RAZR V3 is an ugly & big phone!! Sure it's thin but look how long it is!! And besides that it's also ugly! Gwen Stefni's new music video, she has it at the the begining of it and is talking on it and stuff! I was like oh sh*t!! It looks like a house phone... But then again everyone has different taste so you know... 😕

Dude, you have NO style sense...
kega

LoL, your a funny kid!! 🙄 Ok. So tell me since YOU have so much style sense, what's so stlyish about that phone? Is it the long remote control length of it? Or is it the "cheepish" feel with huge buttons look? What is it MR. STYLE? HuH? Smart guy? 😕
...
Actually I would have to aggre that that phone is ugly. What annoye me about is the extra piece at the bottom. If you want real style in my opinion, go get a siemens SL 65 or the SL66(the NA version if it actually comes out). It may not have bluetooth but it has everything else in it though.

Back to the original topic, does anybody have any info on whether this phone:
A) has a silent vibrate feature?
B) has voice dialing capabilities?
C) if it does have voice dialing capabilities, are they able to work in conjunction with a bluetooth headset?
Thanks in advance.
cheers all,
kega
