I own a company which is an HP authorized reseller and service center and I have used some variety of HP/Compaq PDA for a number of years now and have had nothing but good luck with them, however, I ordered the H6325 (Cingular) about 3 weeks ago and began using it on June 16th. I will have to say without a doubt that it is probably the worst HP device I have used. The PDA functionality is great, but the phone will not pull in a signal and the earpiece sound quality is very poor, additionally it would randomly call people even while at rest on my nightstand, out of the case. I returned the device to HP 3 days ago and moved to an SX66. I am very pleased with this product so far.

I actually had three of the first shipments of HP 6315s way back in Aug/Sep of last year (see my reviews and my comments in the HP forum). Even back then the PDA was excellent (as any PPC2K3SE is) and the phone was horrible. Based on Buie1289's post, it sounds like they didn't fix the phone's ability to pull in signal, which is a very bad thing.

Just by wary when comparing between carriers like that. Verizon uses different cellular tech than Cingular, and where we've had problems with Cingular signal, Verizon signal has been much better.

According to a friend of mine at T-mobile, the MDA III, which is the same as the Siemens SX66 and I-mate PDA2k except for branding, and which is sold by T-mobile in Europe, can be special-ordered in the U.S. even though it's not carried in T-Mobile's U.S. stores.
It's much better choice than a h6315.
