Modifying Start Menu

Hello Everyone:
Just bought this phone yesterday and love it so far.
Does anybody know how to modify the start menu (and the home screen for that matter) so that more frequently used programs can be listed first.

I just added speed dials to my frequently used apps. Its pretty easy just Click start and scroll to the app and click menu and then Add speed dial and assign it a number 3-99 that you will remember.
