i went to a former att wireless store and tried to get this phone but they told me it was 399 and no discounts

the former ATT turned Cingular store in my area is selling it for $319 with no commitment. If I agreed to switch to an ATT plan then they offered it for $125.

I live in the East Bay of the San Francisco area.

i called them up after i left the store..it was 319 but they wouldnt sell it to me over the phone

$125 with a plan sounds like a very good deal to me.

That leaves us all to wonder if Cingular will ever get their act together and provide a similar type of deal with this phone on their network.

Anyone have any update on a Cingular release date?
