Why unlock..??
I was just wondering why would people need to unlock their phone? Is it bc other software works and some dont? Please inform me about this.. thanx

example: if your phone is a Former ATT wireless device, you wont be able to take it internationally or take it to another carrier. by unlocking the phone you are able to use other carriers networks and not get dinged for roaming charges..it adds choices for the user.
its a good thing from a user standpoint if you travel or want to switch to cingular or a t mobile and keep your 5600
