1g miniSD only allows 1/2
i have a 1 g mini sd card and it only lets me put like half of that on there and yes i am sure it is a 1g memory card please help

This will happen when you store all your files in the root directory of the card. Anyhow, if you format the card using FAT32 filesystem this will get rid of that problem regardless of what's causing it.
