Converting Palm desktop data list
I've got all my contacts in Palm Desktop 4.1.4, and I want to put them in the phone. I'll convert to Outlook or Lotus Notes if I have to, but I prefer the Palm Desktop. I read in the reviews that two users put all their palm contacts into the phone without a problem. How did they do it?
I have Windows XP, service pack 2, using USB to connect the phone. Connection works fine, I downloaded some photos.

I was able to copy my entire address book from Sony Clie to p910a using infared. Turn p910 infared on. Then go to address book in PalmPilot. Click on 'Address' in toolbar at top of Address book page. One option should be 'Beam Category'. This will beam whatever category you are in to the p910a. If you are in the 'All' category, this will beam the entire adressbook to the 'Unfiled' file in p910's 'Contacts' file. If you have lots of entries and several categories in your Palm, it is wise to set same categories up in p910a and beam categories one at a time, transfering each category from 'Unfiled' to appropriate file after beaming.
