Planned availability
Anyone find it odd that the planned availability says "3Q 2004" but there are no carriers listed below it - such as Cingular or AT&T Wireless? Perhaps they are way behind and it isn't due until 1Q 2005.

i think it will be at least 4th quarter, but I think they will do what the will to push it out before Christmas. It would be a heck of gift. But 05 might be possible too.

cyberian,
Two things I have never seen:
1. A phone company announcing that they will carry a specific phone when that phone is announced.
2. A release that happens when the initial press announcement says that it will.
As the largest GSM 850 carriers in North America, I can't imagine that Cingular/AT&T won't offer the 910. SE wouldn't have developed it without their buy-in - I don't think. But you may have to purchase it unlocked and set it up yourself, though there is information that it will be offered by the carriers.

I cannot tell you how psyched I am for this phone. I have been limping along with two ageing Psion Series 5mx's - resisting moving to palm or M$ for a PDA.
I cannot wait!

The phone is fantastic. I was a proud owner of P800, the first smart phone in the series. But alas, I lost it. The phone is wonderful, lots of improvements are been done as the use of this phone increased. The first version of the phone I bought died on me in 2 weeks. They had to upgrade the firmware to get it fixed. It didnt crashed (but occassionaly) since then.
Sony Ericsson phones has only 1 drawback...the company sucks...the customer service sucks...so in case by any change, the phone isnt working...ure in trouble. I hope they work on that aspect too !!
